Rouge - The Fashion Parade

Beauty could only mesmerize you, add a bit of style and it hypnotizes you, and for a long time. Many a hard disks have been reported to have been burnt while repeating the stop, rewind, play routine while fashion parade videos have been watched on computers .It does get a bit hot in there with the glitz and the oomph ,the pout and the confidence, the shock and the awe. While the show is a complete treat for the audiences, even the judges find it difficult to be marking somebody whose spell they reel under.

Event Details

Round 1: Impressions

A round especially for models to express various hues in the theme round, where costumes speak louder than words. Choose your own theme and burn the ramp with your glittering tiaras, flowing dresses, suave costumes.

Time limit : 8 mins

Round 2: Vouge-The Party Round

Come and battle it out in the contemporary dressing round as we look out for the trends of the season. Flaunt the aesthetic extravaganza of your creativity.

Time limit : 6mins

Rules and Regulations

1. Competition is open only to college students. All the team members must carry the Identity Cards of their college. A team member not carrying his/her I- Card will not be allowed to participate & if any team member is found to be outside the college, the team will be disqualified.

2. The maximum number of participants allowed per team is 16. The number is exclusive of choreographers, designers or any other helpers accompanying the team.

3. Every team will be allowed a time limit of 6 minutes (empty stage to empty stage) in the first round Vogue and 8 minutes for the Theme round. Points will be cut if the time limit is exceeded.

4. The teams are responsible for their own music. Teams are instructed to get only CD’s for their Music requirements. The music should be in mp3 format.

5. Fire and animals in any form are not allowed on the stage and on the ramp.

6. Teams are advised to use Sensuousness rather than vulgarity. The repercussions of vulgarity might not be pleasant. So, if a team thinks that any sequence of theirs might cross the line, it would be best to talk to the coordinators first.

7. No branding allowed on clothes. Sponsors of colleges will be given announcements only.

8. The decision of the judges will be final and binding for all.

Prizes

The winner team gets a cash prize of 15,000 and the first runner up gets a cash prize of 10,000.

In addition to this, the best male and female model gets exciting gift hampers.
