Over a period of two days during MOKSHA, 8 distinguished performances will be staged, bringing together the best from colleges across the country.. All you theatre lovers, this is an event you CANNOT miss..

So hold your breath, coz The show is about to begin…


FORMAT FOR INTER COLEEGE THEATRE FIESTA

  • Every team should comprise of max 15 members.
  • The play duration should be max 40 minutes. And an extra three minutes to wind up their act. In these extra minutes,the team will not be judged,but marks can be deducted for haphazard ending.
  • The teams will be given additional 5 minutes for setting up the stage accordingly .
  • Basic requirements like mikes, tables,chairs,cloth sheets will be provided by the logistics department. the requirements should be mailed to the organizers at least one week in advance.
  • Lighting and music arrangements will be made there but the teams will have to handle it accordingly. Any background score or any kind of music involved should be brought in CDs or pen-drives by the team itself.
  • The script is to be in Hindi or English.
  • The tentative script should be submitted a week before the event online. It should be mailed at any of the given email id’s in roman or devangiri script, and preferably in .txt or .doc extensions, with Moksha inter college theatre fiesta as subject.
  • teams will be shortlisted on the basis of script and prior experience.
  • last date for applying is 25th March.

    • RULES AND REGULATIONS:

    1. No obscenity or vulgar language is allowed in script.Any such case will lead to direct disqualification of the team.
    2. The use of any other college’s name is strictly not allowed. Organisers are free to stop the enactment of play any time if such incidents occur.
    3. Teams will be penalized for misbehavior in the green room with fellow teams, or during the enactment of plays by other teams.
    4. The organizers reserve the right to dump a script without assigning any reason whatsoever.
    5. The decisions of the judges will be final and binding to all.
    6. Rules are subject to modifications.The teams must keep themselves well informed and upto date with the rules or format.
